Liberal donations

Through voluntary contribution, the donor (Entity or Company- public or private- or natural person), expresses its will to transfer a given amount of money to support the institutional purposes, or to specifically sustain a Politecnico Department (Department of Research Center) or a Research Activity, including Research Fellowships. The voluntary contribution must not be subject to any condition nore encumbered with an obligation. The donations to sustain Politecnico can be divided in different forms:


Donations of modest value, according to the art. 783 of the Civil Code

The contract can be finalized, through a letter exchange, prior the Donor statement of the declaration of modest value in regard to his/her own net worth. The donation proposal letter must include: indication of the amount or description of the good and of its value, purpose of the donation, declaration of modest value in regard to his/her own net worth. The letter must be accompanied by the ID of the donor or, in case the donor is a Legal entity, by a document attesting the authority of the subject who signs them. The letter in which Politecnico accepts the donation, which constitutes the execution of the donation agreement, must be signed by the Rector for donations destined to Central Administration and by the Head of Department for those destined to the Departments, as per the general regulations of Politecnico.


Donations of significant value

The contract must be finalized with a public deed signed by the Rector, subject to the approval of the Board of Governors. No donations which may cause Politecnico (Department or Research center) reputational damage or may entail obligations or specific fulfillments will be accepted.
