How to Report an Event

Notifications can be submitted via:

If you choose to submit the notification via email to dauin.comunicazione@polito.it, please include the following information:

  • event details (title, speakers, date, venue, organizing institution, reference link);
  • optional description (abstract) and speakers’ biography;
  • optional flyer and/or related images;
  • specify the target audience: who are the intended recipients of the communication? If no indication is provided, the event will be disseminated to the general DAUIN community.

Talk@DAUIN

The official poster template “Talk @ DAUIN – TAD” is now available. It serves as the new standard reference format for the DAUIN Department for seminars, conferences, and workshops organized either directly by the Department or by affiliated faculty members and research groups.‎

How it works:

  • The abstract and the speaker’s bio are subject to character limits (approximately 550 and 450 characters including spaces, respectively).
  • A profile image with a resolution of at least 1200×1200 px is recommended, in square or vertical format and with proper lighting, to avoid pixelation in the final layout. During the design phase, the image will be scaled to fully occupy the colored area of the circular placeholder.
  • The institutional logos of the Politecnico di Torino and DAUIN are already embedded in the template. If additional logos need to be included (e.g. partners, institutions, research groups, projects), the existing ones may be slightly resized to accommodate them.

How to submit your information:

The poster is prepared by the staff of the Communication and Public Engagement Committee, based on the data submitted via the submission form that has been circulated in recent months for reporting events and news.

When filling out the form, it is helpful to:

  • in addition to the other required fields, provide a brief note on the intended audience of the event (e.g. open to all; faculty only; faculty and PhD students, etc.);
  • take into account the space limitations for the abstract and the bio, to facilitate the layout process.

Once the form has been submitted, no further action is required: the staff will handle both the layout and the dissemination of the poster, based on the information and preferences provided.
